The Trevor Project (known especially for helping young LGBTQ+ students and people through hate and bullying, mental health concerns and care, overcoming suicidality, and more)
THE LGBT Bar (according to their website, they are here to allow for us all to “connect, share knowledge, and succeed within the LGBTQ+ and ally legal community.”)
Lambda Legal (For LGBTQ+ civil liberties, they give their all: a significant function of this organization is legal advocacy for all people affected by HIV, regardless of one’s sex, gender identity or expression, sexuality, or gender/sexuality/romantic minority status.)
GLSEN (sets out “to create safe and affirming schools for all, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.”)
HRC (the Human Rights Campaign) > civil rights and equality work
ACLU (the American Civil Liberties Union) > defending legal/civil rights
SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center-- although the SPLC is not solely an LGBTQ+ organization, their teams do incredible work to help support diverse communities of people experiencing discrimination)
